The name Rubbernek originated from America when a company called Chicago Fittings opened up a division in the UK to service Ford Tractors. Rubbernek was a product line of re-usable couplings for high vibrations applications. Upon a management buy-out in 1986 the name Rubbernek was adopted as the new Company name and has remained synonymous with quality products ever since.
Rubbernek Fitting Ltd, a private company, was acquired from the former management in 1994. It forms part of The R F Holdings Group of Companies, a small combination of complimentary specialist engineering businesses located in The West Midlands area.
