Melvin Jones Rubbernek’s former Technical Manager continues to enjoy his early retirement, spending more and more time with his family and grandchildren.

To support a growing order book and the continued investment in new technology Rubbernek/Group are looking to recruit an Experienced CNC Programmer/ Setter particularly with Sliding Head Machine Tool experience.

Rubbernek says Good Bye after 17 years of loyal service Technical Manager Melvin Jones retires due to Health Reasons.

Melvin was instrumental in the continued development of both the Customer and Supplier base that is Rubbernek today and during his service developed many personal relationships particularly with Rubbernek’s Chinese Supplier who took the time to visit Rubbernek and wish Melvin a Happy Retirement.

Rubbernek’s design team come up trumps for OEM.

A unique design of check valve conforming too SAE J1453-1 & SAE J2244 specifications provides a solution for a major engine manufacturer. A specifically designed valve with minimal leakage allows the engine fuel rail to maintain the system pressure and assist engine start up with less cranking. A must have option for the buyers of Diesel Engines. 

Rubbernek’s design team were asked by a leading engine OEM to design and manufacture a fitting that would connect an SAE J518 flange connection to an SAE J1453-1 hose face seal connecter within a space that was highly restricted by the engine cross member support and the fuel pump.
